To the delight of winter enthusiasts everywhere, last week's Opening Day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort was a powder day! There was over 10 inches of new snowfall when the lifts opened at 9:00 a.m. on November 24th, on top of the already 17 inches that fell in the days leading up to the much anticipated hour. Currently the top of the hill boasts a base of 36" with an already phenomenal season snowfall totaling 92"!
